From a Life of Abuse to a Life Of Purpose- With Kat McLead.

When you first meet Kat you will see a self-made woman who is living the dream life that many people desire to live. She runs a successful coaching business and is wakes up every day thankful for the life she is currently able to live alongside her husband and son. However, besides the success and accomplishments that Kat has had she has also dealt with an unfortunate past where her worth and dignity were belittled from a young age.

Kat has been holding in a secret about the past she experienced before the outward successes ever came into play, and she has made a powerful decision to share that secret with us today on the Relentless Minds podcast in hopes to inspire other women who may have experienced similar hardships. In this episode “From a Life of Abuse to a Life of Purpose”, Kat shares with us her painful memories being raised in an abusive household and how that affected her self-esteem growing up and led her to get involved in the sex industry at the age of 19. Kat openly and honestly shared her experiences being a stripper and dominatrix and how she was able to pick her life back up, learn that she was enough, and began to create the incredible life she is blessed to enjoy today.

*Attn: Unfortunately in this episode there were audio issues on behalf of the host and as a result some of her speech is muffled. However, Kat’s audio is crystal clear, therefore her entire story can be clearly and easily heard and appreciated. Thank you for your patience.

Finding Purpose in a Life of Gratitude- With Blake Fly

This episode is a special one and a different twist than my other episodes on my podcast. In this episode I sit down with Blake Fly, a motivational speaker and purpose-driven entrepreneur and we talk about living in a state of gratitude and mindfulness and how easily it can be applied to every day life. Blake has dedicated his life to introducing this value to students in college and business professionals to remind people of the importance of appreciating every moment and to make the most of them. The authenticity and gratitude that Blake displays in this episode and in his life are qualities that I cherish and are the foundation upon which I created this podcast and so this interview was an especially enjoyable one for me- enjoy!

Overcoming a Life of Guilt, Shame, and an Approval Addiction- With Christian Farris.

This episode is by far one of my favorite episodes because of the completely authentic and open conversation I had with Christian. Christian is a Coach, father, and husband and he is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to how to conquer your body, mind, and spirit. In this raw episode, we dive into how to overcome guilt, remove shame and the value in becoming more self-aware. He also shares a personal challenge he had to painfully face, an addiction for approval, that he was forced to discover and resolve after 2 failed marriages and decades of guilt and pain. There is so much VALUE in this episode, let me know your thoughts!
